Ioannis Giosos graduated from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science (TEFAA) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) in 1982. He holds a Master's degree in Education from the Hellenic Open University and a PhD in Physical Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has worked as a Physical Education teacher at the Culture, Sports and Youth Organization of the Municipality of Athens (1983 - 2010) and as a Physical Education lecturer at the Evelpidon Military School (2010 - 2013). Since 2016, he has been teaching as an Associate Professor at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens teaching the subject of Philosophy of Sport and all the courses related to this subject in the undergraduate and postgraduate study program. His research interests include the subject of Philosophy of Physical Education and Philosophy of Education.
