TEACHING STAFF


The teaching staff of the Master's program in "Biology of Exercise" consists of sixteen (16) permanent members of the academic and research staff of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science, meeting the teaching needs of the three specialties offered by the Master's program. Eight (8) of the faculty members teaching the program are affiliated with the sector of Sports Medicine and Exercise Biology, which is the sector offering the graduate program. The rest of the faculty members who teach in the program specialize in areas related to the teaching framework of general and specialized courses.

Teaching may also be assigned, depending on the educational needs and in accordance with the Internal Regulations of the Master's Program, to other members of the department's academic staff, Special Teaching Staff (STS), Laboratory Teaching Staff (LTS) and Special Technical Laboratory Staff (STLS) of the department or of other departments of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) or other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), as well as to professors emeritus or retired members of the department or other departments of EKPA or other HEIs, etc.

All members of the teaching staff in the MSc program have a significant presence in the scientific community, reflected in both their research output and international recognition.
